All right, well, nobody else is using this community. But I'll continue using it anyway, because hope never dies.

I've been talking with Chris, Ryan, and Jeremy about the film. Chris swears that once he's done with musical and Speech Club (that would be this weekend), he'll have time to work on the film and will be really psyched about it. He also promises that he is not suffering from any qualms or cold feet about being Edna Mae. For Ryan's part, he says he doesn't have his lines memorized, but he'll get them down soon (I think), plus he's going to give us his work schedule so we can figure out when we'll be able to film his scene. (We should do that soon, by the way.) As for Jeremy, I just sent him his script tonight, as he had completely forgotten about our discussion regarding the movie, meaning that I had to re-convince him to be seduced by Chris. He sounds like he'll do it, though; we'll wait and see how he responds to the script.

Is anyone going to talk to Ross?

Please humor me and use this community a little bit, guys. I will be so INCREDIBLY disappointed if this movie never gets made, and this community seems like a good way to ensure that it does get made. How about if everyone posts what major stuff they've got coming up in the near future, so that we can try to schedule some dates for filming that will fit everybody's plans and activities? (Remember, not everybody has to be present every time we film a scene. Although I must admit I'd like to be there for as many of the scenes as I can, because I'm a dictator. Eh, Betsy?)

One more thing – even if people are too busy for filming scenes in the near future, can't we do the credits sometime soon? It seems like they should be easy – either the beginning credits or the ending credits – and it would be REALLY nice to have something solid done besides just the script. It's been a long time since we've actually accomplished anything on this film.

Please at least post a comment and let me know your thoughts. Thank you. (And yes, I know I'm pathetic.)

Edit: I forgot to say – Chris and Ryan and Jeremy and I raided the Cage's hat box today and found a good police hat for Blythe. We're going to smuggle it out borrow it somehow. Also, I'm borrowing (with permission this time) a white fedora from Elizabeth Lott, although I don't really know her so I'm not sure how that one's going to turn out. But anyway, see? Progress! Costumes! It's exciting! Help me out here. Be excited.

Hi, everyone. This is the production journal, as I (in my pretentiousness) like to think of it, for Call It a Night. My hope is that we can use it to stay a little more organized and up-to-date on the project. I realize that many people involved with the movie aren't on LiveJournal, but at least the rest of us can use this. Please join (membership is moderated, meaning that you'll have to get okayed by me before you're officially a member – don't worry, it'll be quick) and post plans, ideas, questions, comments, concerns, discussions you've had with other non-LJ project members, etc. Hope this will keep us all more connected and together on the movie front. If not, well…it seemed like a good idea at the time.

By the way, I tried to have this community be "call_it_a_night" first, because I thought that name would be easier to read, but it turned out that that name was already taken! I wouldn't recommend checking it out, though; it's just another stupid rating community.

Betsy, how about making us a lovely film-noir-style icon?

Don't mean to be too pushy, but remember, everybody…the Thespian Film Festival is April first!
